Delivery Information
The couriers we use for delivery are :DPD Parcels, Tuffnells Express Parcels, Hallam Freight, and the Royal Mail.
DPD Parcels
If your item is to be sent via DPD and we have a mobile contact number on your order the couriers will text you with an appropriate date and time of delivery usually a 60 minute time slot. The text also includes the tracking number of the item so you can track your item online. http://www.dpd.co.uk/content/how-can-we-help/index.jsp
Tuffnells Express Parcels
We use this courier for the larger and heavier items such as gearboxes, wheels and tyres, body panels etc...
We will need a contact number with your order, just to check that someone will be at the delivery address on the day of delivery.
If the parcel company arrive and no one is there to take delivery they will not leave the parcel under any circumstances. It will be taken back to the local depot and a re-delivery CHARGE will be added by the courier company that you will have to pay, before they will re-deliver your item.
You can also track your parcel at www.track-parcel.co.uk/tuffnells/
Royal Mail
We use these for all the really small items such as oil caps, switches, fuel flaps, mirrors etc... Delivery times vary from 2-5 working days depending on your location.
Most items are sent out recorded post and you can track them at https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item
Hallam Freight
We use these for oversize items such as engines which will be delivered on pallets or in crates, these are best sent straight to the garage who are fitting your replacement part. However so long as there is reasonable access and you can help unload the lorry a private address can sometimes be used.(please be aware if so it may need manually lifting off the lorry).
